I thought Karen O was spending her time chilling with the N.A.S.A. crew, but that theory goes out of the window when you fire up ‘Zero’. All 4:27 of this song is perfect, and the general performance seems to come far too easily for this band. They really are on top form: Karen O squeals, whilst Nick Zinner and Brian Chase lay down a stalwart backing, often drowned out by a huge synth line…

The only negative isn’t really one. ‘Zero’ comes and goes before you know it, forcing repeated replays before it sinks in. Yes. Life really is this good.
