Team. Assembbbbllllleeeeeee!

That really didn’t sound as cool as it should have. I was imagining some kind of Captain Planet-esque effect when we (more on that in a second) all raised our hands and some kind of comic book character appeared. Alas, no, but we are fairly sure that a fantastic site will materialise.

I have gone it alone on The Cold Cut since I started a few years ago. I really love what I do over here, purely because its nice to see that music still means a lot to people, and I love the challenge of keeping up with the latest trends and tips.

In recent times, however, I’ve been struggling to keep it all together. It’s amazing how a job/independence can change your life. I’ve been making a marked effort to update recently and things are going really well. However, to prevent the ’slump’ from happening again, I’ve brought in some help.

You will notice some new faces appearing over the next few weeks. I’ve tried to assemble some diversity, yet nothing is set in stone yet. I’m in the nice position where I’m just trying people out, but I’m looking to take on a couple of people to help with the admin and posting.

I extended an open invitation, and will transfer that invitation from my friends to you, the audience. If you love writing/music and have web skills to boot (in the CSS, graphics area preferably) you are the perfect candidate. I can’t offer anything substantial at this point in time, other than access to our resources (a very, very full inbox) and the right to use our name in your musical endeavours (gigs, press passes etc… essentially anything that is related to the site).
