UPDATE: Both Rihanna and Lady GaGa deny the song features them, as some had suspected. The question remains: whose song is this and why did Kanye say it was Rihanna’s?
Lady GaGa ft. Queen Latifah- Poker Face (Link 2)
Lady Gaga is again tightening her hold over the music industry. Although, it has to be said, she appears to be doing very little work herself. You might say the girl has earnt it- her debut album has risen to chart domination, unleashing a stream of hits, and it’s far from over.
Queen Latifah has focused on her acting and jazz careers for the last few years, and it’s been a worthwhile hiatus from hip hop. I was particularly impressed to see her in the awesome ‘Stranger Than Fiction’, but it’s equally great to see her back on the mic. ‘Poker Face’ is an interesting choice for her ‘comeback’ featuring spot- high profile, obviously, but the lack of space limits her options. La makes it stick, which is reassuring, although the lyrics are definitely tired:
‘Me so tasty, lick those lips… make you go GaGa for poke your face…’

Rihanna ft. Lady GaGa- Silly Boy (Link 2)
As a bonus, take a listen to Rihanna’s newest demo- ‘Silly Boy’- featuring Lady GaGa. It’s said to be a dig at Chris Brown, and the lyrics definitely support the suggestion:
“Cause you had a good girl, good girl, girl. That’s a keeper.
You had a good girl, good girl but didn’t know how to treat her.
“So silly boy get out my face. Why do you like the way regrets taste?
I don’t hear much of Rihanna shining through on this track, as GaGa dominates. It’s got an interesting beat but I’m still not expecting great things from the new album…
